BOTH YMCA'S – FAYETTEVILLE AND HOPE MILLS – have strength, free
weight and cardiovascular equipment along with many aerobics classes.
Trained personnel are available to provide assistance in orientations,
testing, personal training, and educational information. All staff
are certified in CPR/First Aid and updated on current health and fitness
trends.
STRENGTH TRAINING/CARDIO EQUIPMENT ORIENTATIONS – A complete
explanation/demonstration of our equipment is required to help assist members
in developing a personalized program. Appointments please.
Participants must be 14 years or older to use our Fitness Center.
AEROBICS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS – Ask for our monthly class schedule
Cardio Kick – Kick and punches that raise
your heart rate and tone the body.
Core Strength & Conditioning – Strength,
flexibility and cardio conditioning…all in one.
Muscle Strength – Resistance training exercises
designed to tone the whole body.
Step – Intermediate patterns designed for anyone.
Abs – Work the abs area specifically.
FITNESS EVALUATION – Instructors will measure your cardiovascular
and muscle strength, flexibility and body composition. Appointments
please.
PERSONAL TRAINING – Schedule a one on one workout with
our certified personal trainer at times that are convenient for you.
FITNESS CERTIFICATION CLASSES – We offer various water and land
aerobics, personal training and YMCA certifications.
FITNESS FOR TEENS – We will teach you the right way to work out
and get you ready for summer at the same time. This is a six-week
course teaching you it all – effective strength training, safe aerobic
exercise, and the pure enjoyment that can go along with it.
