YMCA Volunteer and Job Opportunities

“At the heart of this organization, at the heart of its heritage of mind, body, and spirit, there is that little element of love that transforms routine work into meaningful activity, that makes a person feel important even when they don’t think they are.  That’s the business of the YMCA.  That’s what you do when you give your skills and your talents to another generation.”
(Andrew Young)

Volunteer Opportunities
(If we have any volunteer opportunities we will post them on this website.)

Everyone is welcome to fill out a YMCA volunteer application – That way when the perfect opportunity becomes available we will already  have your application.

We always need volunteers for the following:  youth sports coaches, youth  and adults sports officials, assistant gymnastics instructors, running events   assistance, ball field maintenance, and YMCA board of Directors and board committees.

Become a volunteer and you will:  help the YMCA, foster relationships between children and caring adults, help provide a safe place for our children to have fun, help teach the importance of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and change lives for those who cannot always financially afford the opportunities. Also help yourself to develop new skills and leadership abilities, to renew your young at heart spirit and zest for life, to experience satisfaction by making a positive impact on our younger generation.  We pledge to you training in the area you volunteer, dedicated staff & volunteers to work with, and a wildly wacky atmosphere!
